Iowa caucus app disaster has Nevada Democrats ‘evaluating’ their plan


Iowa Democrats’ botched deployment of a mobile app to tabulate results from its caucuses kicked up uncertainty Tuesday over Nevada’s plans to use similar technology at its caucuses in less than three weeks.

Democrats in Nevada, third-in-line to cast votes on the 2020 presidential field, had planned to use two apps during their Feb. 22 caucuses: one to tabulate results and a second pre-loaded onto tablets for voters to use at caucus sites during four days of early voting.
